Method of preparation:
- In a small saucepan or sauté pan, combine water, spices and sugar.
- Cut the orange into slices. Add to the saucepan.
- Place the pan over medium heat and bring to a boil. Strain.
- Pour in the wine. Stir. Heat over moderate heat, without bringing to a boil.
