Fruit pie

Ingredients:

7 eggs
200g flour
400 g sugar
1 tbsp potato starch
vanilla on the tip of a teaspoon
2 cups sour cream
1 orange
1 banana
2 kiwis
canned pitted cherries
walnuts

Preparation:

1. First, you need to prepare the mixture for the biscuit base. Separate the egg yolks from the whites into two different bowls. Take about 150 g of sugar and mix it with the yolks until completely dissolved.
2. Separately beat the whites into a foam, then gradually add a tablespoon of sugar to them.
3. Add 3/4 of the whipped egg whites to the mashed yolks and mix. Then add the sifted flour, previously mixed with starch and vanilla. Mix the mixture well so that the sponge cake turns out fluffy. Now add the rest of the egg whites and mix everything until smooth.
4. Prepare a baking dish – grease it with butter and sprinkle with flour. Put 3/4 of the dough in there. Place orange slices on top in a circle, and then pour the remaining dough over them so that it is distributed evenly.
5. Place the form in the oven preheated to 180 degrees for 50-60 minutes. It is important to remember that the oven should not be opened under any circumstances during the first 20 minutes of baking, otherwise the biscuit may settle.
6. When the sponge cake is ready, you need to cool it for several hours, transferring it from the form to a wooden board. Then you should cut off the top of the sponge cake in a circle, the thickness of which should be about 1 centimeter.
7. Place the strained cherries on the bottom layer and cover them with cream made from whipped sour cream with sugar, then cover the cherries with the cake. Carefully cover the top and sides of the cake with sour cream.
8. Now use your imagination, decorating the cake with bananas and kiwi, which should be cut into thin circles. You can also add nuts and chocolate chips. Then put the cake in the refrigerator for several hours.
