Healthy Seafood Salad

Seafood, like no other ingredients, is rich in vitamins and minerals, useful microelements. Seafood is easy and simple to use in salads, because fish, mussels or shrimp give a completely new taste to familiar dishes. Today we will prepare a seafood salad "Neptune", which will be a worthy decoration of the festive table.

This dish with a majestic name will appeal to all lovers of seafood. Named after the god of the seas, this salad truly occupies an honorable place in Mediterranean cuisine. As befits such a royal dish, it includes elite products - red caviar, king prawns and squid. It is very important to use only fresh ingredients, and in no case subject them to repeated freezing.
Seafood salad "Neptune"
Cooking time: 40 min.
Ingredients:
- King prawns - 300 gr
- Frozen squid - 300 g
- Chilled crab sticks - 200 g
- Chicken eggs - 5 pcs.
- Red caviar - 150 gr
- Light mayonnaise - to taste
Preparation:
- Rinse chicken eggs and boil for 5 minutes.
- Peel the eggs and separate the whites from the yolks. Cut the whites into large pieces.
- Boil water in a saucepan, add salt, and boil the shrimp. If necessary, clean and cut in half (if the shrimp are king shrimp, they are large).
- Cut the squid into rings, throw them into boiling water and cook until done. It is very important not to overcook the squid, otherwise they will taste rubbery and lose all their appeal.
- Cut the chilled crab sticks into cubes.
- Place all ingredients in a deep salad bowl, mix, add salt. If desired, you can add ground black pepper.
- Season the dish with mayonnaise to taste.
- Lastly, add the red caviar. This is done to prevent the caviar from bursting and to preserve its taste and appearance before serving.
The delicious and nutritious Neptune salad is ready! Despite the rich composition of ingredients, this dish is low in calories. Like all seafood, shrimp and squid are great for those who watch their figure, and red caviar gives the salad a special piquancy.
