Miss Universe 2015 Wins Wrong Girl

The Colombian woman had to take off her crown and give it to the Filipina
Those who think that beauty pageants are boring should have seen yesterday's Miss Universe 2015 show in Las Vegas. It was like in a Hollywood movie. Three girls remained in the final: Miss USA, Miss Colombia and Miss Philippines. The American comes in second, the crown is given to Colombia, everyone (except the Filipinos) is happy. The audience applauds, Colombian Ariadna Gutierrez smiles dazzlingly and blows kisses to the fans. And then the host of the pageant, Steve Harvey, comes up to her with a guilty look and says that "a terrible mistake has occurred" and it was not she who won, but Miss Philippines Pia Alonso Wurtzbach.
After the scandal, Harvey tweeted that he apologized to the girls and the audience and "felt terrible." Certainly no worse than the unfortunate Colombian. While Miss Philippines accepted congratulations, a sobbing Ariadna Gutierrez was consoled by other contestants.
If the Colombian had retained the crown, it would have been her country's second consecutive Miss Universe victory. The Philippines has won the pageant three times.
