Tsar's borscht for dinner

Homemade borscht. Tasty and healthy.

Tsar's borscht
Ingredients:
half a medium-sized boiled beef tongue;
1 medium onion;
vegetable oil;
1 large carrot;
1 medium beetroot;
lemon juice;
1 parsley root;
2 tomatoes;
6 small potatoes;
half a bell pepper;
1 can of canned beans (preferably red);
meat broth;
1 small head of cabbage;
4 cloves of garlic;
freshly ground pepper mixture, salt to taste.
Finely chop the onion and fry in vegetable oil.
Grate carrots on a coarse grater, add to onions. Fry for several minutes. Add beets grated on a coarse grater, sprinkle with lemon juice. Fry for a minute. Put parsley root grated on a coarse grater and chopped garlic.
Blanch the tomatoes and peel them. Mash into a puree and add to the frying. Simmer for about 10 minutes on low heat. Salt and pepper, add 250 ml of boiling water. Simmer for another 5 minutes, remove from heat. Cut the potatoes and bell peppers into large cubes, rinse the beans under running water.
Bring the broth to a boil, add the fried vegetables, potatoes, bell peppers and beans. Cook for 10–12 minutes. Add the tongue cut into strips and shredded cabbage. Cook for another 10–15 minutes.
