Imagine this situation: you are driving in your car on a stormy, stormy night and suddenly you see three people waiting at a bus stop.
These people:
1. An old lady who looks like she is about to pass away;
2. An old friend who once saved your life;
3. The woman/man of your dreams.
Which of them will you take as a travel companion if your car is a two-seater?

This moral and ethical dilemma was actually posed as a test for a job application at one company. You could give a ride to an old lady who is feeling sick, because you are obliged to save her life in the first place. Or maybe you would choose an old friend, because he once saved your life, and this would be a great chance to thank him? But when else would you have the chance to meet your soulmate? Out of 200 applicants, only one candidate had no problem with the answer, and he was hired. His solution was: “I would give the keys to the car to my old friend and ask him to drive the old lady to the hospital. And I would stay with the woman of my dreams.”
Sometimes thinking outside the box and being creative gives us the key to solving a problem of any complexity.
