The love story of Adriano Celentano and Claudia Mori

The most beautiful couple in Italy celebrated their golden wedding anniversary.
50 years ago, Adriano Celentano and Claudia Mori got married. Their love story was filled with raging Italian passions and could itself have become the plot of a romantic film. We invites you to meet her and look at the photos of the happy anniversaries.
They met in 1963 on the set of the film "One Strange Type", where they were both busy, and at first Celentano did not make any impression on the picky Italian. Yes, she knew his name, heard his songs and watched the films in which he starred, but his stage image seemed too shocking to her.
Celentano tried in every way to interest her, but all the time received a cold polite refusal. Everything was decided by chance: due to Claudia's fault, a short circuit occurred in the filming pavilion, a glass lampshade burst, and its fragments scratched Celentano's face. The girl ran up to the actor with apologies. Later they had a nice conversation in a cafe, and an hour later they were passionately kissing in the dressing room.
But even after that, the Italian beauty held out: Celentano still seemed unreliable to her. After filming the movie, the singer persuaded Claudia to come to his concert, handing her a ticket in the front row. The concert ended with a romantic ballad, after which Adriano publicly confessed his love to Mori. This marked the beginning of their romance.
They got married on July 14, 1964. To get rid of the annoying paparazzi, the lovers got married at 3 am.
Celentano had a difficult character, and Mori wisely decided to sacrifice her career on the altar of their marriage. She not only gave birth to three children, but also became a support in his work - an administrator, image maker and PR manager with an inexhaustible imagination.
Thus, one day, photojournalists flocked to the Brianza train station, having heard that Celentano himself was lying nearby on the rails, apparently trying to commit suicide. Soon, Claudia appeared very “on time”, and began to curse her husband, begging him to get off the rails. The whistle of the locomotive was already audible, the headlights blinded those gathered, Claudia was sobbing loudly… The actor got off the rails at the last moment, when the train wheels were just a few meters from his body. A stormy reconciliation of the spouses took place right there, which was captured on film by numerous representatives of the Italian media.
Another time, the actor created numerous traffic jams in the city center - and all because, you see, he had to prepare for the filming of a crucial scene in a new film, and he was learning a dance right on the roadway. Needless to say, the film's premiere was a resounding success - its producers did not even have to invest much in advertising.
Claudia also played a significant role in Adriano Celentano's victory in San Remo in 1970. She went on stage with her husband and, without taking her loving eyes off him, sang along with Adriano, holding his hand. The song became a real hit for many years. It was called "Who does not work, does not make love." Since then, for a whole decade, the song festival in San Remo turned into a one-man show - Adriano Celentano.
But Celentano, like any Italian, could not live without women. His most passionate affair was with Ornella Muti, his partner in the film "The Taming of the Shrew". For the sake of Celentano, she even divorced her husband, actor Allesio Orano, and expected the same from Adriano.
Celentano kept dragging out the divorce, not daring to leave his wife. And Claudia patiently waited for his return, repeating in every interview: “Accidental betrayal is not a reason for separation. It is forgivable. And for a man, casual relationships are like a mechanic’s inspection of a new car.” Her patience was rewarded: Adriano returned and publicly apologized to his wife and children for his actions.
Now the Celentano family lives 100 km from Milan in a cozy villa, at the entrance to which there is a fountain, washing the statue of Claudia Mori with its jets. They do not like noisy parties and lead the life of recluse. And Claudia still loves her husband for the reason she voiced many years ago: "I have never met anyone more interesting than Celentano in my life."
There are 50 years between these photos, but the couple is still tender towards each other.
