THE STORY OF ZHANNA FRISKE AND DMITRY SHEPELEV: "HAPPINESS LOVES SILENCE"

She was always surrounded by influential and high-status men, relationships with whom were a secret behind seven seals. But Zhanna Friske found her happiness with a simple guy "from TV", who became the father of her baby and was with her until the end.

They met at work
Channel One TV presenter Dmitry Shepelev, who worked on the musical project "Heritage of the Republic", met the famous singer in 2011 during the recording of one of the episodes of the show. The age difference between Dmitry and Zhanna was almost ten years: Friske was older than her new acquaintance, but this did not prevent them from becoming seriously attracted to each other.
Nobody believed in their sincere romance.
Gossips were spreading rumors about Dmitry Shepelev's girlfriend, who lives in Kyiv, while her man is having a "PR affair" in Moscow with a famous singer. In addition, the couple carefully hid their relationship, so many fans were sure that the unconfirmed rumors about the affair were just a journalistic duck. However, not only Zhanna's personal life was under lock and key, but also the singer herself. Some time after the news about her affair with Shepelev, Friske sharply reduced the number of performances and began to appear less often in public. In December 2012, it became known that Shepelev and Friske were going to become parents.
They were not officially married.
Dmitry Shepelev already had an official marriage behind him. Three weeks long! “We dated for seven years,” Dmitry said in an interview with OK! Ukraine magazine. “It was incredible love, although I must admit that we did not lose our heads and both studied at the same time: I was in the journalism department of BSU, she was in medicine… We got married, but our happy family life lasted a total of… three weeks. We couldn’t stand it any longer.” Apparently, the negative experience of a student family cooled Shepelev’s ardor for a long time. He was in no hurry to go to the registry office again, and Zhanna did not insist.
Zhanna Friske was ready to sacrifice her career for her family
The singer spoke openly about her desire to get married and become a mother. Zhanna rarely gave candid interviews, but she did not hide the fact that she was ready to step away from show business if a worthy man appeared in her family. And when this man appeared, the news of the pregnancy was not long in coming. True, as the singer admitted to Hello magazine in February 2013, she and Dmitry did not plan a baby, but, nevertheless, both future parents were happy about their new status. On April 7, 2013, the couple had a son, Platon.
Dmitry Shepelev wants to help people with cancer
Zhanna Friske's diagnosis was announced very precisely: glioblastoma, an inoperable brain tumor. Those who lost loved ones because of the same diagnosis - fans and ordinary observers - hoped for a miracle at least in Zhanna's case, but... Despite active moral and material support from the whole world, it was not possible to overcome the disease. Last year, during the period of improving health after active therapy, Zhanna planned to organize a fund to help children suffering from cancer. The singer has already taken a step towards this idea: half of the amount collected during the First Channel charity event (which is about 70 million rubles) was transferred to the treatment of children. Now Dmitry Shepelev himself has taken up the idea. This afternoon he gave the first comments on his Facebook.
"We always repeated: "Happiness loves silence." I remain true to these words, because Zhanna remains absolute, pure, unique happiness for me... I firmly know that we could not have managed without you. I want to thank everyone: who donated money for Zhanna's treatment, prayed for her health, simply thought about her, wished her happiness and strength. I want you to know: these two years are largely your merit. Thank you!
I wish you and your loved ones health. And in the near future I would like to focus on helping those who, like us, do not give up and fight for health and life."
