Julienne with seafood
Ingredients:
  • seafood cocktail 250 g,
  • crab sticks 3 pcs.,
  • celery root 150-200 g,
  • butter 50 g,
  • vegetable oil 30 ml,
  • flour 2 tbsp,
  • milk 0.5-0.7 l,
  • a pinch of turmeric or curry,
  • salt to taste,
  • cheese 50 g,
  •  dill,
  • parsley,
  • mixture of ground peppers.
Process:

1. Peel the celery root and cut it into thin strips.

2. Defrost the seafood cocktail and crab sticks beforehand. You can use sea fish fillet instead of crab sticks.

3. Fry the celery until golden brown in vegetable oil. After such heat treatment, the celery root has a sweetish taste and a pleasant aroma, somewhat similar to potatoes.

4. Shake off the liquid from the seafood cocktail and throw it with the crab sticks to the celery. Fry for about 3-5 minutes on high heat, then pour everything into a bowl.

5. In the same frying pan, melt the butter until it starts to smoke a little. Add the flour, stir quickly with a spoon.

6. After the flour has turned golden, pour in the milk little by little. Cook the milk sauce for a few minutes. Add salt and ground pepper, curry or turmeric to taste.

7. Return the seafood cocktail and celery to the pan.

8. Boil the julienne over low heat for about 10 minutes. If it seems too thick, add a little more milk.

9. A few minutes before it’s ready, add grated cheese.

10. Throw the chopped greens into the already turned off julienne, seafood recipe or directly into the plate. Serve this dish hot.
