HEALTHY HABITS OF MILLIONAIRES

If we know about our millionaires only from high-profile scandals, news about high-profile criminal cases, bribes, etc., then about the lives of Americans we often come across inspiring success stories that we want to imitate.

By adopting these habits, if you create a large business and capital, you will be able to change the attitude towards wealth in our country, and in general, become richer.

Therefore, don’t be lazy and read this article to the end.

1) American millionaires are ridiculously thrifty and unpretentious.

Once, to study the habits of millionaires, as well as interview them, a series of meetings was organized in one of the fashionable halls of New York. At these meetings, millionaires were heartily fed, and even paid $ 150-200.

Imagine the surprise of the organizers (and mine as well, while reading the article) when the rich people refused expensive snacks and collectible wines, choosing sandwiches and inexpensive beer instead.

It was funny when one of them, when offered a glass of expensive wine (1970 Bordeaux), immediately replied: “I only drink scotch and two types of beer: free beer and Budweiser.”

Conclusion: rich people don't need to show off their wealth. They already know about it.

2) The results of the research showed what rules American millionaires adhere to. Read and apply:

— Living expenses should not exceed the level of income (and not like us, from paycheck to paycheck);

- Time, energy and resources should be used effectively to achieve greater well-being (how much do we spend on TV series and social networks?);

— Financial independence is more important than demonstrating high social status (do we keep a personal budget? do we plan all our purchases?)

- They choose the right activities (more on that later)

3) Savings

As follows from many years of research into the habits of American millionaires, the main principle for them is saving. Statistics show that half of millionaires have never paid more than $1,399 for a suit, $1,140 for a pair of shoes, and $1,235 for a watch.

The image of millionaires throwing money around is nothing more than a marketing ploy designed to make the average person pay for expensive goods, justifying these expenses with a “correct” lifestyle.

Apparently, our millionaires also fall for this trick 😉

4) Don’t spend, invest!

You say, "Okay, American millionaires live relatively modestly. But how do they use their money then?"

The answer is simple. Instead of spending money on themselves, people who become millionaires invest their money.

The average American millionaire invests about 20% of his income each year. 79% millionaires have an account with at least one brokerage firm.

Just imagine: American millionaires have so much money that they can live 12 years without working without changing their habits. However, more than two-thirds of millionaires work hard - from 45 to 55 hours a week.

Millionaires not only invest money, but, of course, receive income from investments. Thus, the average income level per family in half of the cases is $131,000 with an average total wealth of $1.6 million.
