The oven is a brilliant invention of mankind, because you can easily cook many hearty dishes in it.

Here are some recipes for delicious casseroles that your family will ask you to make again and again.

Casserole with minced meat and potatoes

Ingredients:

  • 500 g ground beef
  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 1 egg
  • 250 ml milk
  • 100 g butter
  • 1 onion
  • 50 g cheese
  • salt, pepper

Preparation:

  1. Peel and boil the potatoes in salted water. Drain the water, add 50 g of butter and mash into a puree.
  2. Heat the milk and add to the puree. Stir until smooth.
  3. Peel and finely chop the onion. Fry until golden brown in butter.
  4. Add the mince and fry until done, stirring constantly and breaking up any lumps. Season with salt and transfer to a large bowl.
  5. When the mince has cooled slightly, beat in the egg and mix thoroughly.
  6. Grease a baking dish with butter. Put the minced meat on top, mashed potatoes on top.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes, remove, sprinkle with grated cheese and put back in the oven for another 5 minutes.
Chicken and Vegetable Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 350 g chicken fillet
  • 1 onion
  • 1 sweet pepper
  • 2 stalks of celery
  • 150 ml milk
  • 100 g cheese
  • 1 egg
  • salt, pepper

Preparation:

  1. Boil the chicken fillet until done in salted water.
  2. Cut the cooled fillet into cubes.
  3. Peel all the vegetables. Cut the onion into strips, the bell pepper into cubes, and the celery into pieces.
  4. Fry the onion in olive oil, then the bell pepper and celery.
  5. Mix vegetables with chicken fillet, put everything in a baking dish.
  6. Beat the egg with milk and cheese, pour the resulting mixture over the chicken fillet. Sprinkle with grated cheese.
  7. Bake in the oven for 15 minutes.
Broccoli and Cheese Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 500 g broccoli
  • 5 eggs
  • 300 g sour cream
  • 200 g hard cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • salt, pepper

Preparation:

  1. Boil broccoli in salted water.
  2. Mix eggs, sour cream and grated cheese, add salt and pepper.
  3. Grease a baking dish with butter, sprinkle it with breadcrumbs, add broccoli and pour over the egg mixture.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven for 25 minutes.
Pasta and Ham Casserole

Ingredients:

  • 150 g of paste
  • 200 g ham
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 150 g sour cream
  • 200 g green peas
  • 150 g cheese
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • salt, pepper

Preparation:

  1. Boil the pasta, drain the water, add butter.
  2. Cut the ham into pieces and fry a little with garlic.
  3. Beat eggs with sour cream, add cheese and mix well.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix the pasta, green peas and ham, and place everything in the pan.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over, sprinkle with grated cheese and bake for about 15 minutes.
Casserole with rice and mushrooms

Ingredients:

  • 500 g rice
  • 2 eggs
  • 250 g hard cheese
  • 500 g champignons
  • 2 onions
  • salt, pepper

Preparation:

  1. Cook rice in salted water.
  2. Cut the mushrooms into pieces, peel and finely chop the onion.
  3. Fry the onion, then the mushrooms.
  4. Mix the rice with half of the cheese, grated on a coarse grater.
  5. Place half of the rice on a greased baking sheet, then the mushrooms and onions, then the remaining rice. Sprinkle the other half of the grated cheese on top and garnish with a few mushrooms.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes.
