The best dish for a winter day is Madrid stew. A dish from Spain.

It contains many ingredients: chickpeas, jelly meat, chicken, smoked sausage, blood sausage, meatballs, cabbage, onions, green beans, rice, bacon, ham, butter and garlic. After almost three hours of gentle simmering, you get a very tasty, warming and, what is no less important on a winter day, hearty dish.

I would like to present you with one of the recipes for this dish.

Preparation:
  1. Soak chickpeas overnight in warm water, add a pinch of salt. Drain the water in the morning.
  2. Pour 60 ml of olive oil into a large saucepan and heat, add meat, bacon, washed bones and ham. Pour in four liters of water and bring to the boil.
  3. When the broth boils, remove the foam.
  4. Add chickpeas and bring to a boil again. When the broth boils, add the carrots, onions and turnips and simmer for about three hours.
  5. When the chickpeas are soft, add the peeled potatoes. Taste the broth for salt.
  6. In a separate pan, boil the chopped cabbage (30 minutes). Drain the water and fry the cabbage with garlic and extra virgin olive oil.
  7. In another pan, boil the chorizo and blood sausage.
  8. Strain the broth from the first pot. Add the noodles to the broth and cook until done.

Bon appetit!!!
