Potato rolls. Appetizing, aromatic, with a golden-brown crispy crust.

These potato rolls taste a bit like chips: just as delicious, aromatic, with a crispy, golden crust. The rolls are fried in a large amount of well-heated vegetable oil. If this method of cooking does not suit you for some reason, you can bake the products in the oven at a high temperature.
The dish is considered low-cost, because you can use leftover boiled potatoes and any cheese, even processed cheese, to prepare it. A minimum of ingredients makes a wonderful snack for evening gatherings.
- Potatoes - 200 g
- Wheat flour - 100 g
- Salt - to taste
- Hard cheese - 6 tbsp.
- Sunflower oil - 150 ml
- Boil the potatoes until tender, mash and cool.
- Add half of the grated hard cheese (preferably low-fat), salt and flour, knead a stiff dough.
- Roll out the dough into a circle 0.5 cm thick, cut into equal sectors.
- Place some of the remaining cheese on the wide edge of each sector and roll into croissants.
- Heat oil in a deep saucepan or frying pan and fry the croissants until golden brown.
- Place the finished products on a napkin to remove excess fat.
