Bananas Foster (caramelized bananas)

This is a recipe for brave housewives who prefer, literally, a kitchen with fire. A delicious and sweet dessert of caramelized bananas and ice cream. Dare to try something new. Step-by-step recipe with photos is included.

Ingredients
100 gr. butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup dark rum
1/2 cup walnuts
2 bananas
Cinnamon
Preparation
 
1. Melt the butter in a heavy-sided frying pan.

2. Pour brown sugar into the pan.

3. Stirring constantly, fry the mixture over medium heat until bubbles appear.

4. Add sour cream. Stir.

5. Cut the bananas and place them in the pan.

6. Add nuts. Stir.

7. Remove the frying pan from the stove. Pour in the rum and stir. Bring the frying pan to the burner. The alcohol vapors will ignite. If the vapors do not ignite, light them with an ordinary kitchen lighter.

8. Wait until the fire goes out. Sprinkle the mixture with cinnamon.

9. Take your favorite ice cream out of the fridge, top it with caramelized bananas and… eat!
