A problem for 6 year olds that adults can't solve.

Do you think you're smarter than a 6-year-old? A logic problem from Hong Kong's primary school entrance exam might stump an adult, but a child can solve it in 20 seconds.
The test shows a parking lot with a car located in one of 6 numbered parking spaces and covering the number where it is parked.
Based on the visible license plates, students are asked to identify the number where the car is parked.

Don't be surprised if you can't immediately answer the entrance test for first-graders that has puzzled many adults.

At first glance, it may seem that to solve the problem you need to have good logic or know the basics of mathematics.

However, in reality, the solution is much simpler than it seems.

All you have to do is flip the image over. You will see that the numbers are actually in order from 86 to 91. So the machine is covering number 87.

Adults tend to overthink the question, thinking that the answer requires mathematical calculations, but children, who tend to look at things from different angles, grasp the simplicity of the problem and can quickly come up with an answer.
